3)A team of engineeers, from an organizartion called Ocean Cleanup, have launched a huge garbage collection device to gather plastic in between California and Hawaii. The device comes with lights powered by the sun, cameras, and other special devices inlcuding a system that can communicate its position at all the times. The garbage collected by this device will be gather by a support ship every few months, in order to recycle it. This project has recieved at least $35 million in donations. This device consist of free-floating barriers tha will survive extreme weather conditions and damage from continual use.
