Summary:
For many years the plastic has been a big problem around the world, and all of us are responsible for the pollution of the plastic, throwing ridiculous quantities of plastic to the sea and the ocean.
The biggest concentration of plastic garbage is the “great pacific garbage path”, which has the size of two times the state of Texas.
The organization “Ocean Cleanup” has a project in order to clean or remove at least half of the great pacific garbage path, using a barrier that will caught the plastic without harm the sea animals, once the plastic be in land it will be recycled.
This project has received many contributions and donations, now the technology it’s on testing, and they plan to put it on a great scale for 2020. For then, the founder of “Ocean Cleanup” said that the barriers will caught 90 percent of the plastic through the years.
Plus the barriers won’t have any negative effect for the living species, thanks to this the project got a big acceptation around the world for many companies and organizations.
