A piece of cake: that something is very easy.
When pigs fly: something that will never happen.
Break a leg: means good luck.
The best of both worlds: means you can enjoy two different opportunities at the same time.
Speak of the devil: these means that the person you’re just talking about actually turns up at the moment.
To cost an arm and a leg: when something is very expensive.
2. “Curiosity killed the cat”: is an idiom we use to warn people. Being curious can get you into trouble. We often use this expression when others ask prying questions.
3. Inquisitive – adj. tending to ask questions. Example: having a desire to know or learn more.
4. Pry – v. to try to find out about other people's private lives. Example: Pablo is always prying into personal business.
5. Nosy – adj. wanting to know about other people's lives, problems, etc. Example: when people starts asking such questions to find out something that is none of their business.
6. "Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back.” shows that the risk might be worth it.
SUMMARY
The podcast explain about the meaning of “curiosity killed the cat” and also explain the meaning of words that are release. The words are: pry, which is when you are trying to find out something that is none of your business. Inquisitive, that is when you make a lot of questions. Nosy, a person that want to know everything of someone. So, the text talk about people that want to know everything of other people life and sometimes they can get in trouble. Also, the podcast give the other part of the “curiosity killed the cat”, that is “but the satisfaction brought it back”. The meaning of these is that sometimes being curious can have a good reward.
