Three weeks ago my family and I stared looking for a kitty because we have mice. One of my aunts have some cats in her house, so we stared our search there. She had pretty kitties but we didn't want white cats because are very usual. The same day we went to Desamparados Down Town to buy some stuff, so we saw a veterinary and we went to see if they had some kitties. When we enter in the vet we saw a poster in the wall thats said: "Cats for adoption" so we were happy. We saw like four different cats, and I wanted a the black one, but my mother said: "Look the yellow one" and we love her. We started looking for a name and we said a lot of names, but we decided to named Ginger, because of her color. The first day she was very shy and only was in the house. But later she start to looking around the house. We have also have a little dog, Shasta, Ginger was afraid of Shasta and she wanted to attack her but now they know each other. Hi María Paula I`m glad you found the kitty you were looking for! Because having a new pet is something great. Also because you`ve found someone to be with while you are studying at home.
Last year, I drove to my friend Laura’s house; after the reunion ended, I drove two of my best friends to their houses. At Sam’s house, I felt something wrong with the car. As a result, we got off the car and checked, it turns out one of the tires had deflated. In the process of taking the tire off the car my foot slipped on the wrench and it crash-landed on the screen of my phone, cracking it in pieces, but we had no time to sulk in the phone wreckage. Eventually, my friend Sam and I picked the tire up and loaded it in his car and drove to a gas station to check if they could fix it. Unfortunately they couldn’t, after all it was 2 o’clock in the morning. Finally, we decided to return to Sam’s house and try to fix it ourselves. We tried to patch the hole in the rubber, inflate the tire once more and then devised a plan to get me home in my car. The plan was that Sam would tailgate me as I drove very slowly and watch for the state of the blown tire. Every time my phone rang, it was Sam on the line telling me to pull over so we could pump some more air into the tire and then continue on our journey. As you might think, my mom was worried; since the time was bordering on 3 o’clock in the morning and I hadn’t arrived by midnight (those had been her terms for letting me take the car). Thus she called, but I couldn’t answer properly because my phone had been “injured in combat”. After what felt like a million tries, I finally managed to connect with my mother and she promptly informed me that the spare tire was up front in the engine compartment, instead of in the trunk, where you would usually find the spare tire to a car! So, with this mighty piece of knowledge we went, found a gas station and proceeded to change the tire. In the end, Sam decided to tailgate me all the way to my house and keep checking on the tire’s state. When we got there, I parked the car in the garage and Sam drove home.
When I was young, people told me things about youth, that it was awesome and it was the best time of our lifes, years ago when I went to the school, many things passed front my eyes, many good times I lived. In my Sixteen I fell in love with a little girl as beauty as could be, and only took a couple of days till she was rid of me, cause of that I was so down, well the same old trip it was back then. I remembered when i went to the first school´s trip, all people was excited to play every games that We played. the day was incredible. rugged people, with scratches and all the stuff, it was the last trip that school made.
Indeed! People we get to meet always tell us and always will tell us that we should cherish youth, and they're partly right because youth is a frail thing that time will take away, and when it does we'll regret not having enjoyed the times when we were most active at its fullest. Before being old and wise, we must first be young and stupid. And remember that the past is experience, the present is experiment and the future is expectation, don't dwell on somebody else's bad choices, make your own, it's more fun.

Two years ago my family and I visited the Irazú Volcano National Park, located in Irazú Cartago. That day the place was a quite warm, despite the regular cold weather of the place. When we started the walk we saw the crater, the lagoon volcano plus some mountains that surround the place. Suddenly got back to the normal, rain, windy and cloudy. We took a walk along the place, but sadly we couldn’t observe nothing due to the amount of fog that was on the place. After we finished with our tour, we decided to leave the park because the temperature dropped, so it was very cold. I did not wear an adequate coat for the cold temperatura of the place, that made me feel very cold; my fingers were purple and all my hair was wet because of the rain that felt. Well this was a bit of what happened that day with my family at the Irazú Volcano.
For your next trip to a place like these you should be more prepared, you can ask about the weather by making a phone call to the reception of these volcano, and be ready for eveything the weather can throw at you. i went once there, is a very peaceful place to hangout with friends and family, and to appreciate the nature that is in our nation. Not all the days you see something similar of what we have in our territory, and is a shame that the most of the costarrican people cant see, because they are already living here, but tourist from outside love visiting Costa Rica because of the beauty of the nature that they dont have back home. for example the USA travelers love our nature and culture for the same reason, in their homes they dont have things that we have but we dont take care of. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Last week I went to the FID4, which stands for Festival Internacional de Diseño on his 4rth edition, it was at La antigua Aduana in San José. The festival had 3 days, every day with different designers that exposed their works and designs to the people, the difference between this FID to the other 3 was that this years the designers were more popular. The first day I arrived at 10:00 am, so I had a good spot to watch the designers. That day there was a lot of people, because everybody wanted to hear Hani Rashid, considered the best architect in the world. Then I heard a few designers and finally, I saw the one I was waiting for, Isidro Ferrer who is an extraordinary graphic designer. His exposition was very funny, because he showed the people some drawings and sketches from a work he had last year. At the end of the first day, my friends and I went to the after party at a bar near La California. Then, the second day I saw Coca Cola’s graphic designers and some other cool architects who created Google’s buildings and offices. Finally the third and last day, I saw my crush, Jessica Walsh. She is a popular graphic designer who is only 27 years old and by now she is considered one of the best designer ever. When the third day ended, my friends and I went to the final after party where we met some of the designers that were invited at FID. So I had a cool adventure that weekend.
I think is a wonderful adventure, I guess you love to design. I think is very important for the country this type of events because they promote a better education.
When I was in seventh grade, we had to do a science project for a science fair. The project was in pairs, so me and my classmate decided to build a rocket. I saw the idea on the internet I thought it would be awesome to do it. We bought all the materials and ingredients to build it and the confection of the rocket was a success even though we had some problems in the way. But the time to launch it had come. We knew that the project was dangerous so we took distance from the rocket and we fired it. At first it looked like a success but when it reached 3 meters in the air it exploded! We were very scared and upset but later we laughed a lot. We had all the points in the science project.
One month ago I worked with the TSE in the presidential elections. This day arrived a lot of people to chosse their president. This day I had to wake up very early to go to the Chomes School and can begin with the electoral process. To this kind of event the people came very well dressed. Arrived from young people to adults. It´s very nice look children helping to everybody in this case, especially with adult people. Also, the last weekend I visited my family in Chomes, because is the Birthday of my mother. My uncles organized a party to her. This night we ate a lot of food and drinks. It was very funny, we were able to speak, dance, laugh and others things. To come at this familiar event I had to take four buses from Cartago. But to me back I waited my aunt, she picked up and we went to Alajuela, because I live with my aunt.
It's so nice that you participated in the elections. It is good to see young people supporting our democracy. And by the way... I am glad that you enjoyed visiting your family!
Last year i went to the beach with my friends from the highschool, it was a very interesting experience. We travel in bus from San José to Manuel Antonio, first we went to the beach and spend the day there, we play football, we laugh and had a lot of fun. We didnt had a place to sleep so we walked on the center of the city searching for a place and we found a hostal. The place was little but was cheap and comfortable, the owner was very kind and also very creepy and weird so we tried to avoid him. In the nigth we did a bonfire and stay out watching the stars. The next day we woke up very soon because we wanted to get ready fast and had the breakfast earlie to went to spend the day in the Manuel Antonio national park. At the entrance was very frustrating because we had to walk a lot to ge tinto beach once there we went to the sea for a while, later we went again into the trails to looked for the other beaches inside the park and know all the park, back when was raining and we get all mudy. Finally we returned to the hostal picked up the bags and take the bus to get back to home.
Wow... This park is beautiful!!!... Your trip was funny but chaotic. In the next vacation I will go with my friends... Where do you suggest me to sleep?
Last year I went to the “Parque Nacional de Diversiones” with my family. I got up early that day, at 7 am I think, because my mother wanted to get early there, the reason for that is that all my family always got late for any kind of event we had, so this time my mother took precautions by waking up us all early, my dad, my brother and me. We took breakfast really quickly because even with the efforts of my mom, my dad didn´t got up at time, so we hurried a lot to eat and to get ready that day. After that we got in the car, and my mom of course had to hurry my dad to drive fast, so we could get there early, and get quickly inside (cause she thought that of course there would be long rows to get the special passes.) After a long road, and a lot of traffic to get in the parking area, we got to the entrance, and sadly for us there was a long line of people waiting to get the special pass. So during the waiting my mom talked about how she was right of us getting late everywhere, after 15 minutes of a long line my dad finally paid for our entrances. The first thing we did was getting in the water attractions, cause we thought that it was better to get wet so in that way, later, we would be dry enough to go to eat. So we went to the “Pacuare”, and it was a bummer cause we nearly got water... So we decided to get to the water slides, I tried to convince my mom and dad to try it but they didn´t got on this attraction, so I went with my brother, this time we were soaking wet cause we throw water to each other all the way. After the water attractions we took a break and then we went to other attractions. We ate, and then went to other attractions. Finally, we returned to our home really tired but glad for having such a joyful day.
The high school was one of the most important stages of our life, because there we lived a lot of moments that marked our lives, we found many classmates who became our best friends, anyway, the high school is considered by many people as the best stage in the life of a person. In all those moments, I remember when we used to made jokes to our partners or to any of us, some of them were very simple, like to when we threw somebody to the grass, others were very cruel, like when we filled the backpack of someone with rocks or when we wrapped the backpack with tape. I also remember when we made a team to participate in the championship of the high school, in which we were eliminated very unfairly. Finally, an event that unified the generation, was the organization of the song's festival that is in charge of the fifth grade, we shared a lot with our classmates and finally we made a very nice activity.
I totally agree with you, high school is one of the best times of our lives, and that's why we have to appreciate every single moment of these times, it's only once in the life!
Two years ago, some cousins and I decided to take a vacation. It was Holy Week, so we wanted to visit one of my father’s farm, which it is located in Puerto Jimenez on the Osa Peninsula. We decided to go a week earlier, because we wanted to have more time to enjoy and relax before going home to celebrate this special holiday with our family. I remembered that we decided to travel Friday afternoon to avoid a highly congested traffic. I was the one that was in charge of driving the car and finally after 5 long hours of travel, we arrived at our destination. That same night we went to find a nice place to have some drinks and to look for some girls. Finally, we went to a bar and suddenly I met with some friends that I haven’t seen for a long time. We laugh, danced, drank and had a good time. The next day we worked for a while at the farm without worrying too much because it was a trip to enjoy, not to work. In the afternoon, we had an offer that consisted on going to a fishing tour. At the beginning we were scared because of the waves but then it calmed down and we had the opportunity to have a great fishing afternoon. We stayed for 3 more days at my father’s farm; our main priority was to discover new places, and of course to have some sun and beach to enjoy. Anyway, these vacations were really nice and I had a lot of fun.
I have always thought that being on a farm seems to be funny, I've never been in one, I would like to spend a day working on a farm to make everything I can and learn about it, like raising pigs or milking. Also, about the friend you met, when you are with friends that you haven’t seen for a long time, usually you have a good time remembering many things that you did with them.
A few years ago my family and I went to South America. It was a fantastic experience, we met differents kinds of people and also we ate typical food of each country we visited. First we went to Argentina, the weather was very hot, we had the opportunity to see a few national monuments, and also we ate a lot of meat, we saw a tango show, it was very different to others dance shows we had ever saw. And then we went to Bariloche, unfortunately it was summer, so we didn´t see a lot of snow but fortunately we had the chance to see a little bit of it. Also we visited a island, and the Arrayanes forest. After that, we went to Brazil, the climate was also very hot. We had the chance to visited Tijuca National Park, and some beaches. Also we bought a lot of souvenirs for our family, friends and clothes for us. Finally we were in Peru. The capital Lima had a freeze river, that was very interesting. And also they didn´t have a lot of drinking water. Then we moved to Cusco, it was kind of hard to get familiar with the altitude but finally we did it. Macchu Picchu was terrific. We walked around and spoke with some locals. At the end of the trip we realized that we keep a lot of memories of the places we went like: photos, videos, souvenirs, clothes. And when we came back we started to think about the possibility to do it again.
Hi VAleria, it was a fantastic travel, the place Machu Picchu is a very nice, I would like to travel and know this place. a few years ago I trip to Cartagena Colombia, this is a city amazing with a lot of history, I would like to travel and know Perú. I hope thatyou and your family can do it again.
A long time ago my mom and I went to a hotel in Guanacaste, because she won a contest. It was an amazing hotel, it has a pool outside every room, a super big tv, and much food, oh and a great pool for all. The first day I swam all the day, my mom said that in my past life I was a fish, I only went out for eat,, and later wait with my foot inside the pool, in the night I saw the tv, because the water was very cold, and I didn't want to get sick. The second day I swam in the morning, and later I walked by the hotel, and saw some kids, I tried to talk with them, but they talked in english and I didn't understand what they said, so I went to another place, the hotel had a yard, I went there, the yard was awesome, it had a lot of differents flowers and butterflies, and some monkeys, some monkeys were scary because they screaming very hard, finaly I went home, and like the other day I saw the tv. The final day I swam like 2 hours and later I told my mom that came with me to the yard, after that we ate and I said: goodbye hotel!
What a lucky mother you have! I can see the prize she won was great, the hotel you were staying sounds like a very good place to spend the vacations. And I think the monkeys were scary because of the people around, they usually hide in the trees because of that. But it's funny try to see them specially for the kids.
During the holidays last year I went to the hotel called Condovac in Playa Hermosa with one of my best friends and her family. At first I wasn’t so sure it would be comfortable because we stayed there for a week and thought it might be a little awkward for me and the family because I didn’t know them, but fortunately everything went well. The day we were supposed to go I had an activity at the school and I wanted to go, but I was afraid that I wasn’t ready on time because I still had to pack, however I took a chance and went, but I had to leave much earlier, but at the end it wasn’t necessary because they came for me much later. Finally we reached the place, and we had so much fun, we spend hours on the pool or at the beach and at the end we didn't wanted to go back
The last weekend went for a walk with my friends, I went to the mall to see a movie and eat burgers. Then went to the National Stadium to watch the game of women's soccer but unfortunately lost the game. Then traveled by train to Cartago and it was a nice experience because I had never done and I hope that days like that happen again. And then had to return to school to continue my study.
I like to help people and participate as volunteer in organizations that helps communities. In this case it was Martina Bustos, Liberia. I was 15, my aunt told me about a christmas party for poor kids. She explained what we were going to do and asked me if i want to participate; i didnt think about it. I said: yes, ill go. We arrived around 9am to the party's place and i was shocked. There were around 1000 poor kids with their families, and all of them expected something incredible that day. We did it. We brought food, gifts, activities and surprises to them. We played, sang, danced, acted, laughed, and finally we shared with them the most expected moment.. GIFTS!! I walked around to enjoy and share that special moment of happiness with them.. i wanted to see their smiles. That day a little girl told something ill never forget... Her gift was a barbie diary. She opened to see the pages and when she did, her face changed completly.. She said to me: WOW, THE PAGES ARE WHITE.. AND THEY ARE CLEAN!! She was so happy for that. It really brokes my heart. That day she gave me a life lesson. I started to see things in a different way. I will never forget that little girl...
Is really good the things you did that day and I guess all the kids and their families always gonna remember that. What the little girl said broke my heart too is incredible how some people can't have good materials to work, we need to be grateful for our things.
We all know how important a laptop is because it allows you to do several things in a lot of different places and different moments. This is the reason why six months ago I decided to change my old laptop because it was really slow and it didn´t represent what I wanted anymore so even though I knew my old laptop was still working I was already thinking in a cutting-edge technology device. I started by searching information about the latest technology and the advantages and disadvantages of each option I had so far. While I was taking a look to the official web pages of the different types of laptops all of a sudden I came out with the idea of looking for different opinions in all kinds of technology blogs about the two biggest competitors in this market; Microsoft and Apple. I have to say that I made my choice based on what I read on those informal blogs because I consider them a really useful tool if you are looking for real information and not just the kind of information that companies are trying to sell you. Finally I got an Apple computer and I must admit that I'm happy with it.
You did a good choice, because you are right when you say that the people not only have to considerate the information that the companies give us, we have ton investigate more and and talk with people who have used the products, finally with that information we can find the most useful product for us.

EliminarTwo years ago my family and I visited the Irazú Volcano National Park, located in Irazú Cartago. That day the place was a quite warm, despite the regular cold weather of the place. When we started the walk we saw the crater, the lagoon volcano plus some mountains that surround the place.
ResponderEliminarSuddenly got back to the normal, rain, windy and cloudy.

EliminarFor your next trip to a place like these you should be more prepared, you can ask about the weather by making a phone call to the reception of these volcano, and be ready for eveything the weather can throw at you.
Eliminari went once there, is a very peaceful place to hangout with friends and family, and to appreciate the nature that is in our nation.
ResponderEliminarThe first day I arrived at 10:00 am, so I had a good spot to watch the designers.
EliminarWhen I was in seventh grade, we had to do a science project for a science fair.
ResponderEliminarhahaha hey dude your story is funny, it happened to me when I was in school, but we exploded a volcano. Hopefully you got all the points!
EliminarOne month ago I worked with the TSE in the presidential elections. This day arrived a lot of people to chosse their president. This day I had to wake up very early to go to the Chomes School and can begin with the electoral process. To this kind of event the people came very well dressed. Arrived from young people to adults. It´s very nice look children helping to everybody in this case, especially with adult people.
ResponderEliminarAlso, the last weekend I visited my family in Chomes, because is the Birthday of my mother.
EliminarLast year i went to the beach with my friends from the highschool, it was a very interesting experience. We travel in bus from San José to Manuel Antonio, first we went to the beach and spend the day there, we play football, we laugh and had a lot of fun. We didnt had a place to sleep so we walked on the center of the city searching for a place and we found a hostal.
ResponderEliminarThe place was little but was cheap and comfortable, the owner was very kind and also very creepy and weird so we tried to avoid him.
EliminarLast year I went to the “Parque Nacional de Diversiones” with my family.
ResponderEliminarAfter that we got in the car, and my mom of course had to hurry my dad to drive fast, so we could get there early, and get quickly inside (cause she thought that of course there would be long rows to get the special passes.) After a long road, and a lot of traffic to get in the parking area, we got to the entrance, and sadly for us there was a long line of people waiting to get the special pass.
ResponderEliminarIn all those moments, I remember when we used to made jokes to our partners or to any of us, some of them were very simple, like to when we threw somebody to the grass, others were very cruel, like when we filled the backpack of someone with rocks or when we wrapped the backpack with tape.

ResponderEliminarTwo years ago, some cousins and I decided to take a vacation. It was Holy Week, so we wanted to visit one of my father’s farm, which it is located in Puerto Jimenez on the Osa Peninsula. We decided to go a week earlier, because we wanted to have more time to enjoy and relax before going home to celebrate this special holiday with our family.
ResponderEliminarI remembered that we decided to travel Friday afternoon to avoid a highly congested traffic.
EliminarBye
A few years ago my family and I went to South America. It was a fantastic experience, we met differents kinds of people and also we ate typical food of each country we visited. First we went to Argentina, the weather was very hot, we had the opportunity to see a few national monuments, and also we ate a lot of meat, we saw a tango show, it was very different to others dance shows we had ever saw. And then we went to Bariloche, unfortunately it was summer, so we didn´t see a lot of snow but fortunately we had the chance to see a little bit of it. Also we visited a island, and the Arrayanes forest.
ResponderEliminarAfter that, we went to Brazil, the climate was also very hot.
Eliminarbye bye.
A long time ago my mom and I went to a hotel in Guanacaste, because she won a contest. It was an amazing hotel, it has a pool outside every room, a super big tv, and much food, oh and a great pool for all.
ResponderEliminarThe first day I swam all the day, my mom said that in my past life I was a fish, I only went out for eat,, and later wait with my foot inside the pool, in the night I saw the tv, because the water was very cold, and I didn't want to get sick.
EliminarDuring the holidays last year I went to the hotel called Condovac in Playa Hermosa with one of my best friends and her family. At first I wasn’t so sure it would be comfortable because we stayed there for a week and thought it might be a little awkward for me and the family because I didn’t know them, but fortunately everything went well.
ResponderEliminarThe day we were supposed to go I had an activity at the school and I wanted to go, but I was afraid that I wasn’t ready on time because I still had to pack, however I took a chance and went, but I had to leave much earlier, but at the end it wasn’t necessary because they came for me much later.
Finally we reached the place, and we had so much fun, we spend hours on the pool or at the beach and at the end we didn't wanted to go back
The last weekend went for a walk with my friends, I went to the mall to see a movie and eat burgers.
ResponderEliminarThen went to the National Stadium to watch the game of women's soccer but unfortunately lost the game.
Then traveled by train to Cartago and it was a nice experience because I had never done and I hope that days like that happen again. And then had to return to school to continue my study.
I'm glad you had a nice weekend and also I hope you enjoyed the movie! And yeah, I saw that game, at least they did their best.
EliminarI like to help people and participate as volunteer in organizations that helps communities. In this case it was Martina Bustos, Liberia.
ResponderEliminarI was 15, my aunt told me about a christmas party for poor kids.

ResponderEliminarWe all know how important a laptop is because it allows you to do several things in a lot of different places and different moments. This is the reason why six months ago I decided to change my old laptop because it was really slow and it didn´t represent what I wanted anymore so even though I knew my old laptop was still working I was already thinking in a cutting-edge technology device.
ResponderEliminarI started by searching information about the latest technology and the advantages and disadvantages of each option I had so far.
