October 31st in Deattown A long time ago, in a cold night a boy was walking in a lonely street i only saw mist in all the neighborhoods. And this day it was the last day that I see the boy, nowadays nobody knows about the child there are many stories about the child some true some false but a true fact that all know is that in October 31st whatever child that are in the street at 9:00 pm or after you will never see these children again. (Felipe) -Ohh hi, I am a new neighbor and I heard something about that. My friends and I are going to go to a party at the top of the mountain.-said Felipe- Today we are going to look for costumes for Halloween. In the party we will eat a lot and tell horror stories. If you want you can come to my house at 2:00pm. And after go shopping with my friends. (Justin) -Well.. I don't know -said the mysterious girl- parties are not my thing, you know? People is fake and so superficial-. That girl was weird but I gave her my phone ́s number, perhaps she would change her mind. I ́m not sure why, but I really wanted to know about her, an eerie attraction even so it was not in an affecting way, I just felt the need to understand her intellectual and personality. (Adriana) Minutes after the girl left, I went with my friends to the mall to find the costumes for the party. We entered several stores, but my friends did not decide on any suit and we kept walking until we came across a very strange store, it was a very realistic halloween costume shop, my friends found it very interesting what they saw in the window so we entered and to my surprise the strange girl was inside. (Jana) I was really surprised to see her there, because she had told me that the parties were not her thing, while choosing a costume I found one at the back of the store with a pretty creepy appearance so I thought it was the perfect costume for the occasion, but when I try to grab it, the mysterious girl took my hand to stop me and said - Humans shouldn't be here - then I let go and walked scared to my friends.(Celeste) Felipe was scared about what that mysterious girl told him and he decided to tell his friends about it, however, they thought he was just kidding and trying to make a joke. Finally he found a very weird costume and then, they were ready to go up to the top of the mountain. Felipe started thinking that it was not a good decision to come with these people, but he goes forward. (Keylor)
The more I walked these people, the more afraid Felipe was, the minutes passed and they continued to climb, with a silence that only interrupted the joys that passed in the mountains, until the mysterious girl said -Do you know what time it is?- Felipe answered - It is 8:37, why do you ask?- the mystery girl said -Perfect, there is little time for the goal to be fulfilled- and she started laughing. Felipe was very scared but had the courage to continue climbing the mountain. (Sebastián) Then Felipe and his friends get in the cottage, it looked like the typical cabin of scary movies. It was warmed because of the chimney, Felipe couldn’t stop thinking about the mysterious girl, and what could happen in the night, “maybe she is not alive, maybe she has bad intentions” - he thought-. Agustín worried about the situation of his friend, invited him to drink some juice and to enjoy the party, “you looked so worried, let’s enjoy the party”- said Agustín-, “yes, i think i need to clear myself” - Felipe answered-. (Abraham). We had approximately one hour in the party when the light went for some minutes, maybe it was the rain that had started only few minutes before. I called to Agustin, but he didn’t listen to me. While we waited for the light come back we decided to narrate horror stories. We had some minutes of having started when the light comes back, I started to look for Agustin, however I couldn’t find. This situation was too strange, then the bell rang, the pizza delivery man had arrived with the order. I decided to ask him if he knew something about the blackout. He answered me that he had listened to some stories that every October 31st the light was going in the top of the mountain and always one person disappeared. (Justin) I was disconcerted, a shiver ran through me from the bottom to the top, perhaps that happened to Agustin, where is he? Who is with him? This is the uncanniest thing that ever happened to me, I did not know what to do. I started running around the cottage calling Agustin, despair took control of me. (Adriana) . The cottage was large, it had many rooms, an attic and a basement, while running looking for Agustin, I heard someone call me by my name, I saw again and there was no one, I kept looking, and again someone said my name, then I they heard the screams of a person asking for help, the screams were heard from the basement, there was a door with a hall to the basement, but it was dark, so I tried to return, but in that I heard other screams in the attic, as if there were many people asking Help, I was very scared. (Jana) Because it was dark, I fell, and then I found a door on the floors that had to slide in order to pass, the shouts were loudly heard then I suspected that it was where my friends were so I lowered carefully so as not to fall again, but when I came down I realized that there were stairs, so I went down quickly to look for them. (Celeste)
When I went down the stairs I heard that the door was quickly closed, it was the girl, and she started laughing and saying " you should not come" and you're going to pay the sins. (Keylor) After two hours,without hearing nothing, I listened to the girl saying that if you want to survive you gotta follow my rules without any exception, breaking the rules mean that all your friends are going to suffer more than what you can imagine.(Felipe) The girl began to say rules: -First, you will have to go alone to the bathroom of this cabin. You will have to turn off lights and have a burning candle. You will have to have the tap and wait for the glass to fog. You will have to write your name on the glass and say it out loud three times. If you don’t what your friend Agustin asks you, he will be wrong.- Felipe was very scared but he went to the bathroom. (Sebastián) He gets into the bathroom and then he turned off the lights, he lit the candle, then he wrote his name in the mirror and he screamed his name 3 times, when he said his name for the third time the mysterious girl appeared behind him, -you’re doing it well, just a few steps more and you will see your friend again- said the mysterious girl. Felipe followed the blood road. He was suffering, “what if Agustín is already dead and she is just playing with me?” thought Felipe. (Abraham)
