  1. Is it complicated to listen to the radio in English?

When someone starts to learn a new language it’s a fact that it’s going to be difficult to the listener to understand people talking on the radio, because the pronunciation is not so simple, but is recommended listen the radio as much as possible because that’s going to help the learner to improve their listening skills.

  2. 2) Is it difficult to watch tv in English?

It's not complicated because in the Tv you also see diferent scenes that you can interpret and some of the difficult words you can try to learn them. It's a good way to learn the lenguage, I think because people hears and also see the scenes to interpret.

  3. Video Summary

There are keys to better listening and comprehension.

    1. Understand what makes native speakers hard to understand.
    Reasons
    a) Similar diphthong vowels pronunciation.
    Ex: boat-bought
    Mad-Mud
    Hurt-Heart
    b) Natives shorten & link sounds
Ex: How is it going-How'ZIT going
    c) Patterns
    Ex: -Verbs and Negatives
    -Weak forms:
    I can ski-I KN ski / Here's my book-Here's M@ book.
    -Phonetic Links:
He works as an engineer-He work SAZANEN ginner

    2. Improving your own pronunciation.
Guessing of pronunciation of words by reading is a trap
    a)Trap 1: Believing that same spelling=same sound
    Ex: jean-great / judge-put
    b)Trap 2: word stress
    Ex: ProPOSE & PURpose

    3. Learn primarily with your ears rather than your eyes.
What you see is not what natives say. So start listening to audio books, listen radio and watch films in English, music, etc.

  4. Is it hard to understand native speakers?
There are some difficulties because there are for example, many similar pronunciation--> live, leave; boat-->bought
Short or linked sounds-->how is it going?,how'zit going?
There is difficult if the three speech patterns are use in the same sentence, you need to pronounce in the right way in order to learn to heard the word when you are in a conversation with someone, you need to learn by listening not by reading
